Electrification Hub is an innovation accelerator focused on driving sustainable electrification with an emphasis on heavy vehicles and transportation.
Our portfolio spans across three important sectors
– electrification, energy, and mobilty – where we drive development by joining forces in projects, sharing testing facilities, develop business opportunities, conduct demos, and co-create pre-studies.
We combine the strength of our global partner companies in industry with research at four Swedish universites and research organizations, Mälardalen University, Uppsala University, Örebro University, and RISE, as well as actors from the private sector.
Our vision is for the Mälardalen region to be a global leading node where green batteries, future energy systems, and new companies grow.
The Electrification Region
The Electrification Region is a digital guide on living and working in the Swedish area of Mälardalen. This region provides a global ecosystem of brilliant industry, research, academia, and innovation clusters. All within the areas of batteries, energy systems, charging infrastructure, electric vehicles, AI, and business models. Here you can be a part of developing state-of-the-art projects to accelerate the electrification of heavy vehicles and transport.
